ESG Intern
Within the Operational Excellence team, the intern will support the structuring and improvement of CellCarta’s ESG approach. The primary focus will be to structure and optimize ESG data collection across all CellCarta sites and support the preparation of ESG reports required for certifications, client requests, and corporate reporting. The intern will also contribute to identifying opportunities to improve the company’s overall ESG performance.

The primary focus will be to structure and optimize ESG data collection across all CellCarta sites and support the preparation of ESG reports required for certifications, client requests, and corporate reporting. The intern will also contribute to identifying opportunities to improve the company’s overall ESG performance.
Key Responsibilities
ESG Data Structuring
- Map current ESG data sources across sites and functions.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in ESG data collection.
- Propose a standardized framework for ESG data collection and management.
- Develop tools or templates to facilitate ESG data consolidation.
ESG Reporting and Compliance
Main Requirements- Support the preparation of ESG reports required for certifications, audits, and client requests.
- Define and structure ESG key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to harmonizing ESG reporting processes across sites.
ESG Performance Improvement
Education - Analyze ESG data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Benchmark ESG best practices within the life sciences and CRO industry.
- Propose initiatives to improve environmental, social, and governance performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact ESG initiatives
- Undergraduate or graduate student in engineering, science, sustainability or a related field.
- Strong interest in ESG, sustainability, and operational improvement.
- Analytical mindset with strong data structuring capabilities.
- Strong communication and synthesis skills.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Bilingual: English-French
- Duration: Summer 2026 (12-16 weeks)
