Biosample Operator I
We have a unique opportunity for you as a recent graduate or lab technician(s) to join us in the "Biosample Management" department where incoming samples are registered and accessioned virtually. You understand that this work is crucial to produce correct and the best possible basis for analysis results afterwards.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe sample information into an electronic manifest
- Query any incorrect information that was provided and update documentation when corrections are received
- Notify labs of upcoming shipments and track those shipments until delivery
- Liaise with couriers regarding shipment delays
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload to obtain the best workflow
- Perform administration and document management
Education Requirements
- Secondary School Diploma required
- Professional bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science or related field preferred
Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in data entry preferred
- Proficient in use of MS office tools / Excel
- Logistics background (shipments, couriers) is considered an asset

- Oral and written communication in English required, fluency in Dutch preferred
- Fast learning ability
- Working together as a close team
- Be able to adapt to changing circumstances (flexibility)
- Having a sense of accuracy
- Ability to ask questions and escalate information to other parties
- Strong logical reasoning

Working Conditions
- Full-time, day shift
- Five-day workweek spread over Monday to Saturday
- Flexible working hours (7 AM to 5 PM)
